Baohong high-performance watercolour papers

Born in Asia and recognised by artists around the world, Baohong combines the sensitivity of Eastern techniques with the demands of Western watercolour. From that commitment to bridging cultures arises Masters’ Choice, its emblematic line designed to offer control, colour and stability in every brushstroke.

Masters’ Choice stands out for a uniform, durable surface that allows heavy washes, glazing and corrections without degrading. Its internal and external sizing helps maintain crisp edges and predictable pigment diffusion, while the neutral pH and high-quality fibre composition support the preservation of the artwork and colour fidelity.

Available in various weights and textures (hot-pressed, cold-pressed and rough), you’ll find formats in glued blocks, loose sheets and packs, ideal both for studio use and outdoor work. The paper minimises cockling, supports light mixed-media techniques and enhances the characteristic luminosity of watercolour.
