Sennelier oil pastel is a product that reuses the components used in all Sennelier colors: high quality pigments, a very pure synthetic binder and a mineral wax. The pigments are ground with an inert, non-drying binder that does not oxidize and will not have any effect. There will be no effect on the life of the film or the media. This base is then mixed with wax (neutral pH). The balance of this mixture gives a peculiar unctuousness to Sennelier oil pastel, and a creamy texture that allows great freedom of pictorial expression.

Sennelier oil pastels have an exceptional concentration of pigment that gives them great coloring and covering power, great vibrancy of tones and very good resistance to light (except for metallic and fluorescent inks).
