Technical description
Single-sided, sized watercolour pad with a satin-finish grain – Bockingford, St Cuthberts Mill
- Bockingford is a beautiful English watercolour paper, traditionally manufactured on a cylinder mould machine at St Cuthberts Mill.
- It is a high-quality paper, made from pure materials to archival standards and composed of 100% wood-free bleached chemical pulp.
- The paper’s surface is created using natural wool felts, which give it a distinctive, random texture.
- It is prized for its excellent colour-rendering qualities and for being an extremely forgiving watercolour paper, valued by professional and amateur artists alike around the world.
- As it is acid-free, this paper does not discolour and, thanks to its manufacture on a cylinder mould machine, its surface offers superior stability.
- The paper has a weight of 300 g/m² (140 lb) and contains no optical brighteners.
- As well as watercolours, this paper is also suitable for gouache, acrylics, pastels and pencils.
- White, rough-textured, satin-finish paper.
- Acid-free.
- Includes 12 sheets.
