The Arches® watercolour paper is made from 100% cotton, acid-free, giving it strength, stability and a distinctive feel.
It is made using traditional methods.
The cylinder mould gives it a harmonious, varied grain (torchon), fine or satin.
As it is gelatin-sized in the mass and then air-dried, colours retain excellent results even after scraping and lifting.
Its natural colour and anti-fungal protection ensure outstanding permanence.
Recommended for watercolour, gouache, acrylic, ink and calligraphy. It can be used for typography and offset printing.
