• Heat-drying textile painting medium.
• The fast drying textile painting medium GAC 900 offers a very soft handle and high wash stability.
• It can be mixed with high flow acrylics to create tie-dye effects, or with GOLDEN Heavy Body, Matte or Fluid acrylics for brush or screen application.
• In mixtures with standard acrylics start with a 1:1 mixing ratio of paint and GAC 900 and adjust the consistency as needed for the type of paint you wish to apply. You can also increase the amount of GAC 900 to improve the smoothness to the touch.
• Apply the paints according to your preference and allow them to dry thoroughly before heat setting.
• Air drying time can vary from 1 to 4 hours for most applications, but longer times are generally preferred. Then heat fix the garment.
• Temperature guide:
• - Delicate synthetic fabrics (nylon, lycra, elastane, acrylic) 110°C 3-5 minutes.
• - Moderately heat sensitive fabrics (silk, polyester, wool) 150°C 1-2 minutes.
• - Temperature resistant fabrics (rayon, cotton, leather) 200°C 15-30 seconds.
• Note: The use of tumble dryers and domestic irons to heat fix painted designs has a different purpose than intended. Take the necessary precautions and avoid burning paints or fabrics.
• Thoroughly test fabric materials and paint mixtures before large production runs or when using a single fabric.
